Motion design

Motion design is the art of bringing a graphic universe to life, through the animation of typographies, illustrations, photographs and videos. You create an animated clip from usually static graphic elements, which, in essence, allows you to tell a unique story. You can highlight a product, a service, your brand or even an idea.

So, by creating a video with motion design, you have the opportunity to present your activity in a simple and memorable way . This type of animation lends itself particularly well to explaining complex concepts, to facilitate their assimilation in an extremely visual and careful way.

Distribute your motion design

Your motion design can be distributed everywhere:

  • on the Internet
  • on social networks
  • in a mobile application
  • during meetings
  • on a screen in your premises or those of your partners
  • as a TV spot or in the cinema

What does motion design look like?

You can get 2D or 3D animation, and have animated characters who, for example, will explain your service or product to your users. It is also possible to purchase archive extracts or integrate your own videos, music (royalty-free or not), voice-over, subtitles, or any other relevant element for the production of your motion design.

Generally, there are two types of motion designs:

  • used as a teaser , you can generate interest in a brief way. The goal is to capture attention. Its duration can be very short (barely a few seconds), and go up to around 30 seconds at most.
  • created for didactic use , its distribution will be for informational, educational, or even preventive purposes. Its duration is rather between approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
 

The steps to creating your motion design

From the genesis of the idea to its realization, we will support you in your motion design project.

We will exploit your graphic universe through an animated video to deliver a relevant and impactful message, based in particular on your graphic charter and your brand identity. If you already have specifications, they will be respected. If you don’t have one to share with us yet, we will help you define it together.

The service will then be broken down into the following stages:

  1. writing the scenario for your animation: we will first work on the scenario and the storyboard. This will allow us to easily explain to you what we plan to do. We will then wait for your validation
  2. creation of the animation: this is the step of creating the animation
  3. possible recording of the voice-over: non-obligatory step, depending on your needs
  4. sound illustration of the animation: addition of music and sound design to bring relief to the whole
